About Rovee

What Rovee is
Rovee is a navigation app for European motorhomes and campervans. It plans a route around the size of your rig — height, width, length, and weight — and keeps the rest of the trip in one place: tolls, vignettes, low-emission zones, and the overnight stops in between. One app, instead of the three or four most drivers juggle today.
It's built for Apple CarPlay, currently in closed iPhone beta ahead of a public launch in 2026.
Why we built it
Mainstream navigation treats a 3.5-tonne motorhome like a hatchback. It sends you down lanes that narrow to nothing, under bridges you won't clear, into city zones that fine you weeks later by post. The apps that do understand big vehicles tend to feel dated, cover only part of the trip, or lean on fear to sell themselves.
We wanted the opposite: a calm, honest tool that tells you what's ahead before you get there and lets you drive with less second-guessing. The app never alarms; it informs.
Who's behind it
Rovee is built in Lisbon by Nikolai "Nikki" Voronov, a car enthusiast a little addicted to cars and the roads that connect them, with input from motorhome-owner beta testers. It's a young, independent project, not a big company, and we'd rather earn trust slowly than overpromise.
What we stand for
- Honest data over invented precision. Our rules come from official government and toll-operator sources, each with a link and a review date. See how our data works.
- Calm, not scare tactics. Fines and restrictions are shown as plain, sourced facts — never as a hook to frighten you into paying.
- Pricing you can trust. The founding rate is €17.99/year, held while you stay subscribed. No bait-and-switch, and we won't quietly pull the price out from under you later.
- Privacy by default. Analytics are consent-gated and stored in the EU. We don't sell your data. See the privacy policy.
