By accessing or using Rovee's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the services.

2. Description of Service

Rovee provides CarPlay-native navigation software for recreational vehicles (RVs), campervans, and motorhomes. Our services include:

  • Website access and information
  • Waitlist registration for beta access
  • Future mobile applications (iOS/Android)
  • Offline maps and routing services

3. Beta Testing Terms

Current Status: Rovee is in beta development.

  • Beta access is free during the testing period
  • Beta features may be incomplete or contain bugs
  • We may modify or discontinue beta features without notice
  • Beta users may be asked to provide feedback
  • Beta accounts may be reset or deleted during development

Data Safety: While we take data protection seriously, beta software may have undiscovered issues. Use at your own risk for navigation decisions.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be at least 16 years old (or have parental consent)

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or remain inactive for extended periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with other users' access to the service
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Scrape or harvest data from our platform
  • Impersonate other users or entities
  • Use the service while driving (follow local traffic laws)

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on our website and applications are owned by Rovee and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our software
  • Reverse engineer or decompile our applications
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use our trademarks without written permission

7. User Content

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other content to us:

  • You retain ownership of your content
  • You grant us a license to use, modify, and display your content
  • You represent that you have the right to submit the content
  • We may use your feedback to improve our services

8. Payment and Refunds

Current Beta: Free during beta period

Future Pricing:

  • Subscription fees will be clearly disclosed before purchase
  • All prices are in EUR (€) unless otherwise stated
  • 30-day money-back guarantee for subscriptions
  • Refunds processed within 14 business days
  • Beta users who received free access are not charged retroactively

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Accuracy of routing data or maps
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement of third-party rights

Navigation Disclaimer: Rovee provides suggested routes only. Always follow local traffic laws, road signs, and use your own judgment. You are responsible for safe driving.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROVEE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or data
  • Personal injury or property damage from using our navigation
  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rovee and its founder from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:

  • Email to registered users
  • Notice on our website
  • In-app notification (when available)

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
